C4 x1: Beginner Traveler's Guide​

This guide will help a player navigate the path from their first steps on the server to confidently feeling: "I understand how everything works here."
I won't give you a magic button to catch up with the C4 "veterans," but I will introduce new players to the project's features and its convenient possibilities.

When a character first enters the game, they start a bonus chain. Do not skip these bonus windows, otherwise the chain will be interrupted and you will not be able to obtain new ones!

The created character, regardless of race, appears on Talking Island and can complete all quests in this area. Some quests have been reworked and improved, so completing these tasks will accelerate your character's progression.

For example, you can take a quest from NPC Gilbert (Eastern Gate), kill orcs and goblins near the village, and easily earn some nipples and a few coins to start with.

*I recommend quickly grinding to level 6 on the way to the village and visiting the cat Miss Queen in the center of the square. She will give you a weapon coupon. The next coupon can be obtained after obtaining your first profession.

At the Newbie Guide, you can find other starting quests. Approach the guide and select the button "Get Quests" Next: "What quests are available to me" and "Learn about quests". After completing these quests, you will definitely reach the bonus armor set that awaits you at level 9.

There is no need to teleport to your race's city to learn new skills. All necessary NPCs are located in the building opposite the church.
In the player's inventory, there is a Scroll of Escape (Home) to your hometown. (In case the player wants to start their journey in their native lands.)

Other important useful features:

• Teleporters have a "Newbie Teleport" option. The cost of teleportation for newbies is 10 times cheaper. Hooray, you can leave the island for only 1,800 Adena instead of 18,000 Adena!
• All Newbie Guides provide a free buff up to level 40 (if the character does not have 2 professions). On the island, the guide is located in the center of the square next to the cat.
• You can receive a Blessing of Protection from any Newbie Guide, which will protect you from characters whose level is higher than yours (this works with a difference of 10 or more levels). The Blessing of Protection is automatically removed in hunting zones 52+, in catacombs and necropolises.
• And one more piece of good news: CP/HP/MP regeneration is increased by 2 times up to level 40.

Player protection is active on the server. For example: Characters up to level 61 inclusive cannot drop items upon death from mobs. And the Lightning Strike skill only works on characters no more than 6 levels below the PK character's level.

When a character first enters the game, they start a bonus chain. Do not skip these bonus windows, otherwise the chain will be interrupted and you will not be able to obtain new ones!!! New bonuses are awarded in stages as your hero's level increases. Details:

Level 1	Rune +30% to EXP, SP, Drop and Spoil for 7 days
Level 9	No-Grade Armor Set for 7 days
Level 19	Temporary D-Grade Armor Set for 14 days, D-Grade Spirit Shots / Soul Shots set
Level 30	Drop/Spoil Rune +50% for 24 hours, D-Grade Spirit Shots / Soul Shots set
Level 40	Drop/Spoil Rune +100% for 24 hours, C-Grade Spirit Shots / Soul Shots set, C-Grade Weapon Coupon (from NPC Miss Queen)

Every day upon logging into the game, the character will receive this daily rewards window! The more days you claim, the better the bonuses! The window will appear once upon login (if the player has not yet received the daily reward). To summon it if you accidentally closed it, use Alt + B.

By the way! There is a chance when receiving your daily reward to get a 200% rune for 10 minutes or even for a full hour if you're lucky.

I recommend activating your daily rewards while at the spot you are using for leveling. Even if you get a 10-minute rune, it's a wonderful and, most importantly, free boost!

Towards the end of the month, there is a chance to get a 12-hour rune! But to manage to get it, you need to claim your daily rewards every day. This rune activates immediately, so it's advisable to plan your time in advance.
Its effect: Premium Rune: 12h. exp +150% sp +150% pve dmg +10% drop +30% spoil +30%

So what exactly is this item called a rune? The Experience Rune is a special item that increases the EXP and SP gained. This item can be obtained in various ways. We've already covered daily rewards. Now let's move on to the Miss Queen shop. The cat will gladly share items with players in exchange for Coin Of Luck (available for purchase in your personal account on the website).

If you are determined to save as much time as possible, you can purchase such a box from the cat, and then head to the trading zone "Giran Harbor" (MDT). Players eagerly buy runes. Just find the best offer and sell the item.

This step will give you enough Adena to equip yourself for the near future. If you truly love nostalgia and hardcore (and I hope this is your path), then let's move on!

Besides daily rewards and the donation shop, runes can be found:

- In the game world. Players buy and sell runes. They are always available.
- In our bonus codes. We share them with players in the project's Telegram group.
- In activities and contests, which are also held in the Telegram group.
- In seasonal events throughout the game world.

In the reality of C4, it is difficult for solo players not because "it's designed that way," but because almost everything interesting here is done together. You don't have to be a top player or know the game by heart — what matters is being around people.

Moreover, the project is home to "true veterans" who are ready to share their experience if the game isn't one-sided.

A clan means you don't have to guess what to do next. And it's not embarrassing to ask a question, even if you haven't played in ten years. You can come to a siege "just to watch" and suddenly become part of the server's life rather than an outside observer. A big misconception among new players on such mature projects is that they think: "you can only get to an epic boss on a schedule for the elite." In reality, clan leaders are ready to take you with them on an already prepared and geared clan character. They will explain where to stand and which buttons to press.

A good clan in the world of C4 is not just about PvP and castles. It also means access to buffs, help with quests, a clan hall, equipment advice, and answers to questions that players usually search for in old, tattered guides from 2006.
The project's community has already walked your path many times and is ready to guide you through it much faster. It is in your interest to gain this experience.

In the project's Telegram group, there are clans that are eager to take on newbies: they teach, invite to sieges and epic bosses, and don't require perfect online time or "proper" experience. If you are at the very beginning of your journey, joining a clan can change your feeling of the game more than any sudden drop from a mob or a killed RB.

In C4, the game does not reveal itself immediately. But with a clan — much sooner.

On the vast lands of C4 x1, seasonal events are not just a checkbox activity or decoration for cities. They are moments when the life and atmosphere of the server become more generous to those who live in it.

In the world of La2Era, there are plenty of seasonal events that allow players to break up their daily gaming routine, as well as giving them a chance to obtain exclusive items.

During seasonal events, the usual activities at hunting spots start yielding useful bonuses: helpful items for progression, runes, stylish costumes, agathions, special accessories, and even that exclusive pet — the raccoon — that players wait for every year.

	The value of events lies not only in the drops. This is one of the easiest ways to accelerate a newbie's progression. Other players eagerly buy event loot! Just don't sell it to the first trader you see — look for the best offer.
	Toys, letters, candies, heart pieces, flowers, medals — collect everything. These items can be turned into Adena and invested where they will truly come in handy: new gear, your consumables, or buffs.

Collected a small stash of coins to start? It's time to try participating in the activities yourself. Keep the event loot for yourself, then exchange it with NPCs for whatever is relevant in that particular season! Earn cool accessories, a pet, costumes for your characters, as well as drops that will be useful to you as you play!

Don't ignore events! At the start, they are a great boost. And most importantly, participation doesn't require any special actions. You simply level up and collect extra goodies for your pocket.

Voting​

Vote for the server! It might seem that 1 event coin isn't worth your time, but you couldn't be more wrong! At the start, when you don't have good buffers, you can use event coins to purchase buff scrolls that will help you level up more comfortably.

You can vote by using the command .menu in the game world and clicking the Vote button.
(Sometimes rewards are delayed; most of the time we are aware of the issue and try to resolve it as quickly as possible)

Completing Profession Quests on Request​

If you know the profession quests inside out (especially relevant for 2nd profession) and can complete them quickly and without errors, you can earn Adena by completing them on request for other players.

Yes, in the beginning you need to build trust, but good service providers quickly find clients. If you do everything well and on time, people will come back to you and recommend you to others.

Spoiling High-Demand Resources​

Playing as a Spoiler? Spoiling popular resources can also become a stable source of income. Take a walk through Giran Harbor (MDT), see which materials players buy most often, and focus on those. High-demand resources are always needed by players and sell easily.

Fishing and Watching Favorite Movies and TV Series​

Don't write off this forgotten mechanic. Perhaps fishing doesn't tire you out or you're just tired of constant grinding? This is also a viable way to earn. Slower, but very calm. Of course, this has its own nuances, and this earning method becomes more profitable once you've leveled up a bit.
