Santa's Gifts

Everyone knows that New Year is a magical holiday when hopes and dreams come true.
In the world of New Era, the pre-New Year's bustle is in full swing. The real Santa will visit players and bring not only a good mood but also valuable gifts!

Description:​

With the arrival of night, Santa's Magic Sleigh will appear in the game world.
Santa Claus will visit all cities of Elmoreden and hide gifts. Remember that the most valuable gifts are the hardest to find!
On the eve of the New Year, monsters all over the world have also decided to participate in decorating the world.
When killing mobs, Angry Snowmen will start to appear, from which you can obtain valuable loot.
Also, all mobs will start dropping items that can be used to craft Christmas trees:

Reindeer that ran away from the sleigh:​

All players will have the opportunity to tame the reindeer from the sleigh. To do this, you need to find the escaped Cupid, Dasher, and Rudolph and catch them. The fugitives hide in cities such as Aden, Giran, and Gludin.

Please note: Reindeer cannot be /targeted using the command.

Santa's Helpers - Santa Trainee and Santa Girl​

On the eve of the holiday vacations, Santa's helpers have also visited the cities of Elmoreden!
Santa Trainee and Santa's Girl will tell you how to obtain a real New Year's costume, as well as how to decorate a Christmas tree and craft a useful Snowman.

Angry Snowman: spawn mechanics and destruction.​

If your character has at least 1 Burning Torch in their inventory, Angry Snowmen will begin to spawn from mobs with a 5% chance. To kill Snowmen, you need to use a Burning Torch on them 5 times. Each hit consumes 1 torch. Please note: Items for crafting the Snowman will now go directly into the character's inventory (auto-loot). Please note: Angry Snowmen remain in the world for 20 seconds, after which they will disappear.

Change of Heart​

The mad scientist had a nervous tic.

"How dare they drive me away! Don't they know who I am? I am the Emperor of Evil!" growled Doctor Chaos, pacing circles around the room. The cat, slouched, yawned while sitting on a chair. He had heard this tirade many times before and knew it was best not to interfere.
"My new army of golems is almost complete. Just a little something is missing to finish it. If only I had enough helpers to gather what I need, but no one will help..."
Doctor Chaos stopped rushing around the room. He turned and pointed his finger at the Cat, who immediately jumped up.
"You there... My faithful servant... um ..."
"Buzz."
"Yes, yes, Buzz, that's it... I've just decided to change. I no longer want revenge. I just want to be loved."
The Cat stared at the Gnome.
"Listen, Buzz, only an army of mechanical golems can love someone like me," continued Doctor Chaos. "I need the hearts that many of the monsters inhabiting the lands of Aden possess. With them, I can give emotions to the golems. The problem is, I cannot get the hearts myself, and I really don't want to talk to people. I want you to go into the world in my stead and recruit adventurers who will do this and help a poor old inventor."
"They won't help you for free," noted the Cat. You have quite a reputation...
Doctor Chaos surveyed the room, and his eyes fell on a dusty chest.
"In here you will find scrolls and potions that you can offer them in exchange. But they must play a game if they want to get them."
Buzz the Cat shrugged. After all, Doctor Chaos wouldn't be a mad scientist if he just gave away prizes. The Cat stood up and began making preparations to leave.

"Hurry up!" barked Doctor Chaos. "We don't have much time to collect hearts! Begone!"

Buzz the Cat - the faithful servant of Doctor Chaos, located in the villages of Aden and Elmore, ready to play a game with adventurers in exchange for heart pieces. Nine different heart pieces drop from monsters all over the world. Collect all nine to try your luck in the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" game. After each round of the game, you can choose whether you wish to continue playing or want to receive the prize for the current round. When you lose, the game ends. Your prize is determined by how many consecutive times you win. When you lose — the game ends.

The great collector Bashtal from the Bronze Key Guild asked Roy and Winnie the Cats to collect medals scattered all over the world. To collect as many as possible, Roy, being a resourceful cat, organized an event with valuable rewards. Collect medals by killing monsters, increase your collector level to gain access to the most valuable prizes.

During the event, Medal and Glittering Medal will drop from monsters.

• The former are needed to receive participation rewards from Roy the Cat.

Bring Winnie some Glittering Medal and play a game of Heads/Tails with her. Guess correctly — Winnie will raise your level and more rewards will become available from Roy. Lost? Don't worry, better luck next time! The higher the level, the higher the stakes in the game.

To raise your level, you will need:

They can be exchanged with NPC Mila for various Agathions. These cute creatures will help players with leveling or add a good percentage to the drop and Adena bonus. When you have an Agathion in your inventory, a skill will appear in your character's skill list: "Summon Agathion" *Agathion duration is 24 hours. *Time is consumed even if the character is not in the game.

Possible Agathion bonuses (in %):​ Exp/Sp: 30, 50, 100 Item and Adena drop chance: 10, 30, 50 Drop/Sp/Exp: 10/30, 30/50, 50/100 Note! The bonus stacks with experience runes.

September opens a new school season every year, and along with it, the L2Day event starts on the vast lands of La2Era!

With the arrival of late autumn, the nights on the lands of Elmoreden become saturated with the aroma of pumpkins and sweets. Shadows thicken, pumpkin lights flicker in the darkness, and rumors spread across the world of a mysterious trial awaiting the bravest adventurers. Are you ready to challenge your fears, experience the joy of Halloween mischief, and compete for rewards?

Halloween Candy - Candy that drops when killing Jack and Jack's guards (bats).

They can be exchanged with Rico for a random item:

• 1-2 Mana Potion
• Festive accessory (for 3 days)
• Box with +200% experience rune (for 10 minutes)

• Ant Queen's Ring

Halloween Weapon Coupon - Can be exchanged for one weapon of your choice from Rico (no refunds)
Halloween weapon +5 - Event weapon for 30 days from the moment of receiving it from the NPC. The stats of the +5 event weapon correspond to those of a regular +5 weapon.
Pumpkin Slasher - Two-handed sword. When equipped, a special skill appears in your skill list: Pumpkin Punch (Range 30) for dealing damage to Jack.
Pumpkin Retributer - Staff. When equipped, a special skill appears in your skill list: Pumpkin Pancake (Range 400) for dealing damage to Jack.
Large Squash Seed - Seed for growing a large pumpkin. Can yield either a Low quality pumpkin or a High quality pumpkin.

Good Scarecrow Rico

NPC Good Scarecrow Rico has appeared in cities. He is the main character of this event. In addition to providing information, all event-related operations are carried out through him:

• Receive Jack's Lantern (free).
• Exchange event items Pollen (dropped from mobs) for:
  • seeds for growing pumpkins;
  • weapons for breaking pumpkins and killing Jack (Pumpkin Slasher and Pumpkin Retributer).
• Exchange event items Halloween Candy.
• Exchange event items Halloween Weapon Coupon.

Positive Bats Effect

To get a unique positive effect, talk to Rico and receive a special item Jack's Lantern.
The item is available only to characters level 25 and above who have at least their first profession.

To get the positive effect, you need to activate Jack's Lantern by double-clicking it, after which Bats will appear.
Every hour, the Bats will reward the lantern owner with the Halloween Spirit effect.
The longer the lantern is active, the better the positive effect.

Bats cannot stand cities and will fly away if you stay in peaceful zones for longer than 10 minutes.
The effect has 3 levels: after the 1st level ends, the 2nd is automatically applied, and after the 2nd ends, the 3rd is applied. All levels last 1 hour.

The buff effect is lost upon character death.

Pumpkins, Nectars, and Seeds

To plant and grow 1 pumpkin you will need:

• Watering cans (Pollen) - 5 pcs.
• Seeds: Squash Seed (small pumpkin) or Large Squash Seed (large pumpkin) - 1 pc.

Watering cans drop from mobs; seeds are exchanged for Watering cans from NPC Rico.
To plant a pumpkin, click on the seed in your inventory, then water it 5 times (click on the watering can), and wait for the pumpkin's growth animation. Depending on RNG, you will get either a Low quality or High quality pumpkin. The item drops from different quality pumpkins vary. To get the drop, you need to break the pumpkin. You will need a special weapon for this, which can be exchanged from Jack for Pollen.

You can handle a small pumpkin alone; for a large pumpkin, a group of 5 or more players + buff Haste/Berserker Spirit + Dance of Fury from a Bladedancer is recommended.

RB Jack and mice/bats: 5 minutes before Jack respawns, an announcement appears in the blue chat about his imminent arrival. Jack can appear in one of 3 cities: Aden, Giran, or Gludin. 6 hours after being killed… see point 1.

Any weapon can be used to kill Jack, but you will kill him significantly faster if you exchange for a special weapon from Rico, which is also used to break pumpkins (Pumpkin Slasher and Pumpkin Retributer). After purchasing the weapon, depending on which one you acquired, a new skill will appear in your skill list.
Pumpkin Slasher - two-handed sword, melee weapon. Gives the skill Pumpkin Punch, which deals 50 damage to Jack. Skill range - 30. To deal this damage, you need to equip this sword and use the skill. A regular sword hit on the RB deals 25 damage.

Pumpkin Retributer - two-handed staff, ranged weapon. Gives the skill Pumpkin Pancake, which deals 20 damage to Jack. Skill range - 400. To deal this damage, you need to equip this staff and use the skill. A regular staff hit on the RB deals 1 damage.

Jack and his guards (bats) cast various debuffs that hinder players.
